Founded by Danielle Hinesley Bishop in 2011, HB Hospitality provides market development solutions for the nation's leading luxury resorts and hotels through its unique series of signature networking Showcase events and multi-day Executive Industry Summits. The objective of each event is to showcase HB Hospitality's hotel and hospitality partners to qualified senior-level meeting planners, corporate executives, and organizational decision-makers.

DANIELLE BISHOP – CEO AND FOUNDER
A native of Pinehurst, NC, Ms. Bishop began her hotel career with The Pinehurst Company after graduating from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. After completing the Manager in Development program at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA, she returned to her hometown to work in the sales department at Pinehurst Resort. Following Pinehurst, she served as the Director of National Accounts for The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA.
Through a decade of luxury resort experience, it became evident that there was a serious need in the market to help connect qualified clients with the nation's premier independent resorts and hotels. With the help of industry friends, HB Hospitality emerged after the success of the very first Independent Resorts Insurance Summit at Pinehurst Resort. Since then, her mission has been to "Connect Exceptional People to Extraordinary Experiences."
Danielle has recently been featured in Triangle Business Journal's 2016 40 Under 40 as well as named one of The 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry for 2016 by Successful Meetings.
A casual golfer and a serious entrepreneur, Danielle resides in Durham, North Carolina with her husband Zach, three sons Whitaker, Winston, and Watts, and dog, Sammie.
ZACH BISHOP – MANAGING PARTNER AND GENERAL COUNSEL
Zach joined the Company in 2018 as Managing Partner and General Counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Zach was a partner with the law firm Wyrick Robbins. Previously, Zach was an attorney with the law firms of Hunton and Williams and Alston and Bird. Zach received a BA from Duke University in 1998, and a JD from Tulane Law School in 2001.
Zach resides in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Danielle, and sons Whitaker, Winston, and Watts.

Spencer Hux – VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Spencer brings almost 15 years of luxury hotel and resort experience to HB Hospitality in his role as Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnershps. After graduating from Elon University with a degree in education, Spencer taught two years of high school before his love of golf led him to what would become a career in hospitality. As a member of the Group Sales team at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, he covered the Southeast and Northeast markets for nearly 10 years, preparing him for a role as the Director of Sales at The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville. Most recently, Spencer returned to North Carolina in 2017 to lead the team at Pinehurst Resort as the Director of Group Sales before joining HB Hospitality in July of 2020. Spencer, his wife Brooke, and their three daughters- Maclary, Charlotte, and Poppy- still reside in Pinehurst and love exploring everything North Carolina has to offer.

Jennifer Hytjan – Vice President of Events
Jennifer brings over 20 years of industry experience including 12 years as a meeting planner in the financial industry and event design and purchasing roles at two Minneapolis-based incentive houses. As Vice President, Events she is responsible for overall strategy and logistics for our showcases and summits and leading the team executing them.

Melanie Kaye – Vice President of Planner Relations
Melanie graduated with a degree in Hospitality from New York University and brings 15 years of sales experience to her role. She began her career with Ritz Carlton Hotels of New York before joining Starwood Hotels and Resorts as an Account Director. Most recently Melanie served as a National Sales Manager for Pebble Beach Resorts, where she was introduced to the HB Hospitality community. Over her career in sales Melanie has handled client accounts in most domestic vertical markets and has extensive experience in the Northeast, Canada, and the UK, which will allow her to bring a variety of different perspectives to the HB Hospitality planner experience.
Melanie is never leaving her beloved NYC (except to travel!) and resides locally with her husband Ryoji and two young daughters Emi and Mia.

COURTNEY WESTON – DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Courtney graduated from NC State University in 2014. Her passion for events and a degree in Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management led her to join HB Hospitality in April 2015. As Director of Community, she is responsible for building and managing all enhancements within The Hive and Lobbee, and designing new features and benefits for the community.
Courtney lives in Durham, NC, and she loves traveling, going to the beach, drinking IPAs, binge-watching Grey's Anatomy (for the 100th time), and spending time with her friends.

CAROLINE MUSY - DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTS
Caroline brings over 25 years in the Hospitality Industry, she worked for independent hotels and hotel chains in Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Geneva, Switzerland. In 2006 she joined a California based Marketing company and developed the Latin America and Caribbean markets for almost 8 years and after this period moved to the film industry expanding the company’s services internationally.
She is a Self-motivated, energetic, flexible, positive, and multicultural person; a restless leader whose passion is to serve. Caroline was born in Fribourg, Switzerland and currently lives in Cancun, Mexico. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, enjoys exploring new places, spending time with friends, dancing, reading, yoga, and meditation.

North Carolina born and raised, Mary discovered her passion for hospitality and events by working in corporate incentive trips after graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. As a Program Director at HB Hospitality, she is responsible for onsite logistics and ensuring that both hoteliers and planners find all HB events fun and productive!
Mary loves binge-watching netflix and trying out new restaurants around town with her friends.

KELLY BRYSON – PROGRAM DIRECTOR
After graduating from North Carolina State University with a BA in Communications, Kelly began her hospitality career with Royal Caribbean Cruises in Miami, followed by The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC. Her passion for hospitality and events led her to join the HB Hospitality team in 2019 as Program Manager. Kelly is a travel enthusiast with a love for skiing and spending time on the coast. She has a great appreciation for art and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
She resides in Cary, NC with her husband Jamar, sons Aidan and Connor, and fur baby, Zoe.

ANNA LLEWELLYN - DIRECTOR OF PLANNER RELATIONS
Anna, a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate, brings a wealth of knowledge in B2B sales, marketing and client support as our Director of Planner Relations. She has worked tirelessly in the barter industry (ITEX) excelling in procuring and retaining an extensive client base as well as connecting trading partners for over 25 years.
She enjoys cooking, hiking and watching all things UNC sports related. She resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her husband Michael. Her son Ellis, lives and works in Raleigh, NC.

Genevieve, a Western North Carolina native, was so excited to join HB hospitality following her graduation from The University of the South. Melissa, a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University. In 2014, she graduated with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. Melissa joined HB Hospitality in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, shopping and trying out new restaurants in the triangle. She currently resides in Raleigh with her husband Kyle.

Rachel joined HB Hospitality following her graduation from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. Raised in Western North Carolina, she holds an affinity for mountains, waterfalls, and fall leaves, but is thrilled to continue exploring the triangle area since her move to Durham. Rachel is a passionate creative who brings energy, positivity, and attention to detail to every project. She can most often be found cheering on her teammates, playing guitar while singing off-key, listening to podcasts, or perfecting her secret recipe for the ultimate Italian meatballs.
