DANIELLE BISHOP – PRESIDENT
A native of Pinehurst, NC, Ms. Bishop began her hotel career with The Pinehurst Company after graduating from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. After completing the Manager in Development program at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA, she returned to her hometown to work in the sales department at Pinehurst Resort. Following Pinehurst, she served as the Director of National Accounts for The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA.
Through a decade of luxury resort experience, it became evident that there was a serious need in the market to help connect qualified clients with the nation's premier independent resorts and hotels. With the help of industry friends, HB Hospitality emerged after the success of the very first Independent Resorts Insurance Summit at Pinehurst Resort. Since then, her mission has been to "Connect Exceptional People to Extraordinary Experiences."
Danielle has recently been featured in Triangle Business Journal's 2016 40 Under 40 as well as named one of The 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry for 2016 by Successful Meetings.
A casual golfer and a serious entrepreneur, Danielle resides in Durham, North Carolina with her husband Zach, three sons Whitaker, Winston, and Watts, and dog, Sammie.
ZACH BISHOP – MANAGING PARTNER AND GENERAL COUNSEL
Zach joined the Company in 2018 as Managing Partner and General Counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Zach was a partner with the law firm Wyrick Robbins. Previously, Zach was an attorney with the law firms of Hunton and Williams and Alston and Bird. Zach received a BA from Duke University in 1998, and a JD from Tulane Law School in 2001.
Zach resides in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Danielle, and sons Whitaker, Winston and Watts.

Cindy joined the team in 2015 as Account Director with more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and management with boutique luxury resorts across the country. She provides the highest level of results through knowledge, intuition, and professionalism. She has established herself as an influential leader in the industry as well as a mentor among her colleagues. Cindy resides in Holly Springs, NC with her husband Kevin, and their two busy teenagers, Ryan and Catherine.

Janele is proud to have joined the HB Hospitality team in October 2016. With her passion for hospitality in mind, she graduated from Johnson and Wales University, Charlotte with a B.S. in Hotel Management. Previously, she represented the Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC as Senior Sales Manager.Janele lives in Holly Springs, NC with her wonderful husband Evan, adorable baby boy Everett, and golden doodle

Mallory joined the HB Hospitality team in 2018. Originally from the western North Carolina mountains, she graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Following graduation, her spark for hospitality has lead to an array of professional industry experience in both sales and event planning from The Umstead Hotel and Spa to The Raleigh Convention Center, as well as a full-time Blogger and Independent Event Producer.
She currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband, John, and rescue pup, Quorra. On the weekends she can be found at home entertaining friends, playing guitar, or diving into her next renovation project.

Genevieve, a Western North Carolina native, was so excited to join HB hospitality following her graduation from The University of the South. With a degree in Marketing, Economics and Business, she is definitely a wonderful fit for the marketing team. Genevieve recently moved to Chapel Hill, NC, and loves exploring all parts of the triangle, traveling, and trying new recipes with her friends.

Jen joined HB Hospitality in 2018 with 20 years of industry experience including purchasing roles at two Minneapolis-based incentive houses and 12 years as a meeting planner in the financial industry. As Director, Incentive and Travel Partner Programs, she is responsible for establishing HB Hospitality as a strategic partner to our valued Travel Partners as well as managing showcases and summits throughout the year.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Courtney graduated from NC State University in 2014. Her passion for events and a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management led her to join HB Hospitality in April 2015. As Director of Membership and Programs, she is responsible for planning and coordinating summits, onboarding new members to The Hive, and educating meeting planners on Hive features and benefits of the community. Courtney lives in Durham, NC, and she loves traveling, going to the beach, drinking IPAs, binge-watching netflix, and spending time with her friends.

North Carolina born and raised, Mary discovered her passion for hospitality and events by working in corporate incentive trips after graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. As a Program Director at HB Hospitality, she is responsible for onsite logistics and ensuring that both hoteliers and planners find all HB events fun and productive!

After graduating from North Carolina State University with a BA in Communications, Kelly began her hospitality career with Royal Caribbean Cruises in Miami, followed by The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC. Her passion for hospitality and events led her to join the HB Hospitality team in 2019 as a Program Director.
Kelly is a travel enthusiast with a love for skiing and spending time on the coast. She has a great appreciation for art and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She resides in Cary, NC with her husband Jamar, sons Aidan and Connor, and fur baby, Zoe.

ANNA LLEWELLYN - DIRECTOR OF PLANNER RELATIONS
Anna, a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate, brings a wealth of knowledge in B2B sales and client support as our Director of Planner Relations. She has worked tirelessly in the barter industry (ITEX) excelling in procuring and retaining an extensive client base as well as connecting trading partners for over 25 years.
She enjoys cooking, hiking and watching all things UNC sports-related. She resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her husband Michael. Her son Ellis, lives and works in Raleigh, NC.

ROCHELLE ABBOTT - DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Rochelle, a Cincinnati Ohio native, made the move to Durham and joined the team in 2018 as Senior Manager of Operations. She has more than 20 years of marketing, call center and trade show/meeting planning experience. Rochelle assists with day-to-day operations, manages the call coordinators, and ensures event showcase registration goals are achieved. In her spare time, Rochelle is always up for a round of golf, enjoys wine tastings, farmers markets and loves to spend time outside either hiking or on the beach.

Barbara joined HB Hospitality in April 2018 as a Call Coordinator and is now a Project Coordinator. She returned to work after raising her three children who are now teenagers. Her prior experience includes Event Management and Sales Marketing in the technology industry. Barbara lives in Durham, NC with her husband Ed and on weekends they try to keep up with their children's active schedules.

Ebony, a Philadelphia native, joined in April 2019, started out as a call coordinator and has since moved to the next level as an Event Coordinator. Gray, a Lafayette, Louisiana native, began her career in hospitality at The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. There, she met her chef husband and proceeded to move around the country for a decade, working in restaurants. North Carolina won as the best place to live and she loves calling Durham home, where she and Tom raise their 3 daughters.

Mandi, a Colorado Springs, Colorado native, moved with her family to Durham, NC, for her husband's residency program at UNC in 2014. She joined HB Hospitality in 2017 as a call coordinator after taking time off from her radiology career of 10 years to take advantage of being home with her kids. In her downtime, she enjoys being with family and friends along with days at the ballpark as her kids excel in sports.
